Hello, here's a little bit about me...

Brianna Niebling :) “Bri”, for short. (This doubles as a pun, because I am, indeed, short.) Also known as “Breezy”. Like the wind, I go with the ~flow~.

My style is warm, romantic, natural, radiant, textured, dreamy, and raw. At the core, I begin with relaxed documentary, add a dash of quirky portraiture, and a touch of *whimsical*, and you have Photos By Bri!

I grew up in the rural town of Boonah, Queensland. The world has never been still for me, watching upside down from cartwheeling too much and blurry hours on the trampoline with my head in the clouds. I have a passion for observing human nature and crafting semi-surreal stories through my images. I find intrigue in the little things that often go unnoticed. Nature's overwhelming beauty regularly sets the scene.

I live to capture candid, unscripted moments of magic in the everyday; the sunshine hitting the curve of your shoulders, the afternoon breeze stirring your perfectly imperfect mane, the freckles re-emerging on your blush cheeks. The artist in me also loves to conceive and direct conceptual pieces, which adds another dimension to my work. I also have an insatiable tug to capture live music, drawn to the expression, vulnerability, and energy of artists sharing their soul-driven craft.

In 2015 I completed my Bachelor of Photography at the Queensland College of Art with a major in Photographic Art Practice and specialisation in Documentary Practice.

I am currently based on the sunny Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and boy, I am up for adventures and travel!
